Clayton Thomas Bradley, Jr.

Clayton Thomas ‘Tom’ Bradley, Jr., 93, of Hattiesburg, MS, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018. Mr. Bradley received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and an M.S. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Delaware.

Mr. Bradley was a member of Parkway Heights United Methodist Church since 1957, where he served on numerous committees. He retired from Hercules Chemical Corporation after 33 years in 1986. He served for two years in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Lake Champlain during WWII.

Mr. Bradley was preceded in death by his first wife, Jeanne Sharpe Bradley; parents, Grace and Clayton Thomas Bradley, Sr., of Peckville, PA; and sisters Marion Coleman of Peckville, PA; and Betty Jensen of Castro Valley, CA.

Mr. Bradley is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joyce Webb Bradley; one son, Dr. Scott Bradley (Anne-Russell) of Columbus, MS; two daughters, Dr. Judith Bradley of Laurel, MS and Donna Howell Meeks (Joe) of Pensacola, FL; four grandchildren, Chase Munro, Laura Munro, Kelsey Meeks, and Whitney Meeks.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday at Parkway Heights United Methodist Church with visitation beginning at 11:30 am at the church.
Interment will be at Highland Cemetery. 

The family wishes to express gratitude to the staff at Asbury Hospice House for helping provide an easy transition during his final days.
