Lois Elizabeth Sparks Bonner
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Sumrall for Mrs. Lois Elizabeth Sparks Bonner, 99, of Sumrall, MS who went to be with her Lord on March 24, 2021.
Interment will be in First Baptist Church of Sumrall Cemetery.
Mrs. Bonner was born on January 1, 1922 in Columbus. She was a Homemaker and Yardlover. Lois lived and raised her four children in Natchez, Miss. She loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and all of her family. She loved her yard and her flowers. Her talents showed in the beauty of her yard.
Lois and Raymond later moved to Sumrall, MS . They became very involved with First Baptist Church of Sumrall. They were very active in their Sunday School Class.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband , Raymond Edward Bonner, Sr.
She is survived by three sons, Raymond Edward Bonner, Jr. (JoAnn) of Elberta, AL; Michael Stephen Bonner (Lou) of Hattiesburg, MS and Joseph Clyde Bonner (Debbie) of Spanish Fort, AL; one daughter, Bobbie Kimberly Bonner McCurdy of Sumrall , MS; one sister, Sharlene Sparks Garrett (Roy) and niece, Cindy Garrett Watson all of Meridian, MS; eleven grandchildren, Dionne Michelle Bonner, Melissa Bonner Hubbard (Michael), Shawna Bonner McGuire (Neil), Christopher Bonner (Karen), Maxwell Bonner (Lauren), Chad Bonner (Cindi), Emily Bonner Saffle (Owen), Sarah Bonner Hulsey (Andy), Jay McCurdy (Sue), Muranda McCurdy Moore (Fed), and Aletha McCurdy Mattison; twenty eight great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
A special thanks to Dr. Rodney Lovitt and Dr. Randy Ross and also Forrest General Home Care and Hospice Staff for their special care and love.
