Martha Hudson Mixon

Services will be held Tuesday, 2:00 PM, January 24th at Hulett Winstead Funeral Home in Sumrall for Martha Hudson Mixon, 96, of Sumrall. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon, until funeral service.
Interment  to follow in Advance Cemetery.
Mrs. Mixon was a Sumrall native, born on October 3rd, 1915. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and a member of the Methodist faith. Mrs. Mixon was a pillar of the community and loved by everyone who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Daniel Mixon, one son, Clarence Mixon Jr, one grandson, Keith D. Mixon.
She is survived by four daughters: Alice Creel, Patricia Matherne, Kathy Bennett (George), and Valeda Tagert, all of Sumrall, Ms; two sons, James Mixon (Pearl), Larry Mixon of Mount Olive and sixteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren.
